Lifevest Publishing, Inc. has been recognized as the recipient of “The National Parenting Center 2007 Seal of Approval” for the publication of author Jewel Sample’s book, Flying Hugs and Kisses.

The National Parenting Center’s (TNPC) Seal of Approval program is an independent multi-step testing procedure to better inform parents, children, and educators’ about quality products. Each product is tested for desirability, sturdiness, interactive stimulation, and other ingredients essential to the production of a quality product.

Flying Hugs and Kisses, is about five children who creatively take on roles of support toward each other while showing their individual feelings about the death of their baby brother.

The National Parenting Center Seal of Approval report indicates, “Jewel Sample does a wonderful job of breaking down some of the confusing terms that children hear during times like these and celebrates the love and strength that family provides.” The National Parenting Center’s 2007 Seal of Approval full report can be found at tnpc.com.

Sample’s sensitive story of encouragement and hope is a great resource for professionals and families to use to help children cope with the loss of a young loved one. Hey. I am Brennan's Aunt Kristal (Kelly's brother's wife). I had never had the opprotunity to tell you how wonderful I think your book is. I heard about it, and was eager to read it. My oldest child had a hard time with Brennen's death. She felt so guilty. She kept saying "if only I would of prayed harder." I am so happy that other parents have your book available to help their chidren through a hard thing like what we went through. Thank you so much for the things you are doing!!! You are truely an amazing person!!! Congratulations on all your success!!!
